Google introduced their new product Google Whitechapel CPU in collaboration with Samsung. Google is using Samsung’s IP in SoC design to develop a 5nm chip. The 5nm chip makes the device ultra-slim and higher the battery performance. Google made this chipset for Samsung high-end devices. It’s Equivalent to Snapdragon 870 5G. ( Snapdragon 888 Is a high-end model).
CPU (octa-core processor)
1x 2.8GHz Cortex-A78
3x 2.6GHz Cortex-A78
4x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55
Google Whitechapel CPU has a higher frequency of 2.8GHz its equaled to snapdragon 870 the second flagship model. And it’s more performance than Mediatek Dimensity 1200.
Google Whitechapel GPU
GPU is the main part of a mobile CPU. It gives better performance and graphical support. Whitechapel CPU has a 14-core Mali-G78 GPU (Mali-G78 GPU can include up to 28 cores). It gives a 120Hz refreshing rate display of up to 4K resolution. It can give the same performance as Adreno 660 GPU (Gpu in snapdragon 888)
Google Whitechapel 5G
5g modern inside the CPU gives a speed up to 5.1 Gbps with 6GHz bands. FastConnect 6800 Subsystem delivers Wi-Fi 6, It gives more Bluetooth speed with low latency and high-speed wifi up to 100 GBPS
Whitechapel is a 5nm chip with current performance on PVT units closer to SD870, they are not trying to match SD888. Google’s focus is on ML & so the raw AI performance is matched to that of other leading mobile chips. Plus that Mali GPU is performing good under stress.
Is the new Whitechapel chip will boost Pixel sales or not? Google develops this Chip for the Samsung Flagship model. Google first introduced its CPU on Samsung phones. After the successful launch google tries to make their own phone after 6 Months.
Google needs about 1 year for software updation and optimization for their new CPU. After the real launch of their smartphone.
Is This Worth?
Don’t know, in the market snapdragon 888 is the best processor ever. so the Samsung Flashship model have more than the value of 888 devices so

Another Flop like microsoft
build is nice but the google cant beat snapdragon because mobile processor patents are under control
