How to Fix macOS Big Sur Bluetooth Issue

Here are a few solutions you can try if you are facing Bluetooth connection issues on macOS 11 Big Sur.

Try first switching Bluetooth on, then off. Ensure you have the means to attach a mouse to your Mac so you can turn it back on before you do this.

If this doesn’t work, you might have to remove the Bluetooth plist file. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Finder.
  2. Then select “Go” from the top menu.
  3. Now choose “Go To Folder: and type “ Library/Preferences” and hit Enter.
  4. Locate the file and delete it labeled as “com.Apple.Bluetooth.plist.
  5. After restarting your Mac, attempt once again to connect your Bluetooth device.
